Genesis Housing Corporation's Homeowner Rehab Program brings Washington Street neighborhood homes up to local codes including lead paint testing and abatement, new roofing, new heating systems, and new electrical systems. Over twenty homeowners have participated in this program.

Rehabilitation funding is available for additional homes. To be eligible to participate in the program, owners must meet income guidelines listed below, be a resident of the Washington Street neighborhood in Pottstown, and own and occupy a single-family residence.
